MIRC Infrastructure

      SuperComputer at MIRC: Our HPC is installed with Latest Scientific Linux ver 4.4 , x86_64 and is with open source products having Intel Platform compatibility. Using GlusterHPC ver 1.3 x86-64 bit edition the complete cluster along with Intel and gcc and gcc4 compiler makes it one of the most stable HPC.

      H/W Platform is consisting of Intel Xeon Dual Quad core, 64 Bit. Having 01 head Node and 15 Compute Nodes connected internally with Gigabit Ethernet/Infiniband switch ( Silverstrom 9024). Each node is made up of two processor of Intel Xeon Quad Core 2.66 GHZ, memory of 4 GB, two 250 GB SATA II disk.

Apart from HPC, MIRC is equipped with

  • An Apple Xserve.
  • A DNS and an Oracle Server – installed in Wipro Machines.
  • Apple Computers, installed with MAC OS.
  • Series of Wipro Desktops as clients for the server.
  • Online UPS for Power Back in MIRC.
  • Aethra (Vega X3) Video Conferencing equipment.
